RMG by Honeywell Analyzers comprises of transducers and transmitters that are used to measure the temperature, absolute pressure, calorific value, standard density and chromatograph analysis of natural gas.

RMG by Honeywell’s line of transducers and transmitters include:

  • PT 100 – Sensors for measuring gas temperature. They come with an optional protective sheath and are made explosion-proof according to II 2 G EEx d II C T 6
  • Pressure Sensor - Sensors with transducer for measuring absolute pressure. Measuring range of these sensors can be freely selected and are explosion-proof
  • EMC 500 - determine the superior and inferior calorific value and standard density, Wobbe index and CO2 concentration of natural gas
  • PGC 9000 VC - Gas chromatograph for the analysis of 11 different components. The device calculates calorific values according to ISO 6876

Measuring factors such as temperature, absolute pressure, calorific value, standard density chromatograph analysis help gas distribution companies determine and analyze the quality of gas transferred.

The RMG by Honeywell transducers and transmitters are suitable for pre-treated bio-gas. They are also capable of multiple-flow versions for up to four different gas flows.

The EMC 500 without carrier or auxiliary gases are also available in mobile versions and come with an option of determining energy content through integrated corrector function.

Temperature, absolute pressure, calorific value, standard density, chromatograph analysis are all critical factors of natural gas. Determining their correct values using RMG and transmitters helps distribution companies analyze the gas flow more efficiently.
