​The PL3700 family of pressure transmitters includes submersible, flange-mounted, and manifold sensors that measure level in tanks (service tanks, ballast tanks, slop and water) and the pressure on cargo lines. In addition, it also includes an atmospheric pressure sensor for level calculations. All transmitters feature a ceramic, capacitive sensor that ensures best-in-class reliability and corrosion resistance. ​​​​
  • The PL3701-P-S Electronic Level Transmitter is a linearized, ceramic device specially designed for petroleum and chemical applications. It features an IP68-rated sensor through 316 L stainless steel housing and shielded polyester cable.

  • The PL3702C-P Electronic Level Transmitter is a linearized, ceramic device designed for sea water applications. It features a sensor housing in composite material IP68-rated which avoids the electrochemical corrosion and sea water organic deposits. The polyester remote electronics box includes an amplifier with zero and span adjustment. This sensor is the perfect fit for water level measurement in ballast tanks.

  • The PL 3700 ATM provides reliable measurement of atmospheric pressure to the cargo gauging system, thus allowing precise and reliable measurement of level in the tanks equipped with pressure sensors of the previous two types.

  • The PL3700 manifold for cargo lines gives precise information about the status of the product being pumped during loading and discharging.

The PL transmitters are built around a proprietary ASIC and a dedicated capacitive-type, ceramic sensor. This provides excellent and stable accuracy (+/- 0.2%) even after years in difficult conditions. The stainless-steel body remote amplifier sends a 4-20 mA signal to the ship system. This allows easy calibration and maintenance on deck.

The transmitter bodies are available in stainless steel or special composite. The polyester remote electronics box includes an amplifier with zero and span adjustment. The transmitter provides a wide thermal range of operation (up to 125°C) with active temperature compensation. Mechanical ruggedness provides resistance to overpressure and corrosion.
