Lifecycle Management (LCM) is a multi-year service agreement based on users' site strategy that provides system support for Honeywell hardware and software until they are upgraded. It is flexible enough to adapt to users' schedule of automation/modernization and is ideal for long-term automation planning (>=3 yrs).

LCM is an agreement to help establish an automation roadmap leading to either refresh or complete migration. With LCM, users can start down the path to modernization today and get there incrementally according to the needs of the plant/mill or as their schedule dictates.

Benefits of LCM include:

  • Extending the life of assets through a cost-effective means to support the control system’s physical and intellectual assets, providing incremental upgrades, as well as guaranteed hardware support on installed Honeywell products

  • Reducing the unpredictability & risk by funding migrations and upgrades over multiple years, predicting support costs for spare parts and upgrade kits and financing options that spread costs and keep cash flow predictable and positive

  • Addressing current needs and future demands flexibly with the benefit from Experion® entitlements and a planned approach to users' support and upgrade investments.​

LCM offers flexibility in managing plant assets and predictability in how choices are financed. The user chooses when to modernize, what components of a solution to invest in, how to fund the transition and how much longer to maintain the current capabilities. LCM effectively extends the equipment life while providing a cost-effective path forward to the latest technology and functionality of advanced control.​

LCM provides a cost-effective method to ensure that control system’s physical and intellectual assets are supported, kept technologically up to date and protected from obsolescence.​
